Joining & Renewal Fees

SBI Card PRIME Fees and Charges

  • Joining fee: Rs. 2,999 + taxes.
  • Renewal fee: Rs. 2,999 + taxes.
  • Add-on card fee: Nil.
  • Finance charges: 3.50% per month (42% p.a.).
  • Cash advance fee: 2.5% of transaction amount or Rs. 500 (whichever is higher).
  • Cash payment fee and Cheque pickup: Rs. 250 + applicable taxes.
  • Late payment charges:
    • NIL for the total amount due from Rs. 0 – Rs. 500
    • Rs. 400 for the total amount due above Rs. 500 & up to Rs. 1,000
    • Rs. 750 for the total amount due above Rs. 1,000 & up to Rs. 10,000
    • Rs. 950 for the total amount due above Rs. 10,000 & up to Rs. 25,000

SBI Card PRIME Eligibility Criteria

The basic eligibility criteria to be fulfilled to get approved for the SBI PRIME credit card are:

  • The applicant should be a salaried employee or a self-employed individual.
  • The age of the primary applicant must be between 21 years and 70 years.
  • The applicant must have a stable income source.
  • The applicant must have a good credit history.
  • The credit score of the applicant should be 750 or above.

Document Required for SBI Card PRIME

The documents required to apply for an SBI PRIME credit card are listed below:

  • Proof of identity: Aadhar Card, PAN Card, Voter ID Card, Driving Licence, etc. (any one).
  • Proof of address: Aadhar Card, Driving Licence, Utility Bills, Passport, etc. (any one).
  • Proof of income: Last 3 months’ bank statements, salary slips of last 3 months, or latest audited ITR.

  • Go to the ‘Credit Cards’ section and select the SBI Card PRIME option.
  • Then click on the ‘Apply Now’ button.

SBI PRIME Credit Card FAQs

To earn maximum points, you must use your PRIME Card for the bill payments. The payments processed by your wallet would not earn you points. As you accumulate points, you earn additional bonus offers such as renewal fee waivers and e-gift voucher.

It is absolutely hassle-free to redeem reward points of your SBI Card PRIME. You can redeem the points through the SBI Card mobile app, by writing an email or logging in SBI Card website with your account ID and password. Redemption can be made for gift vouchers, gifts as well as cash. The choice is entirely yours. It takes 3 to 10 working days to deliver the E-Vouchers and 15 to 30 days to deliver the gifts picked from the reward catalogue.

You can revise the limit of your SBI Credit Card if you receive a pre-approved credit limit offer or by forwarding a request for the same. For requesting an increase in the limit (without a pre-approved offer in hand), contact SBI Card helpline number at 1860 180 1290 or 39 02 02 02 (prefix STD code). You need to check if you are eligible for the same or not.
