Joining & Annual Fees

Airline Mileage Programme

To apply for HSBC Premier Card, you have to meet at least one of the following criteria:

• Maintain a quarterly Total Relationship Balance (TRB) of Rs. 40 Lakhs; or
• Have a mortgage relationship with disbursal of Rs. 11,500,000 or more, with HSBC India; or
• Hold a corporate salary account under the HSBC Corporate Employee Programme (CEP) in India with a net monthly salary credit of Rs. 3 Lakhs or more into the account.

Premier customers meeting any one of the above three Premier Eligibility criteria can add their family members (spouse, partners, children up to the age of 30 years and parents) who can avail Premier benefits as part of the single Premier family relationship. After the age of 30 years, any family member classified as “children” will have to individually meet Premier eligibility.

HSBC Premier customers in India must meet the TRB criteria of Rs. 40 Lakhs quarterly. The TRB will be calculated based on the following:

• Average quarterly balance held in the HSBC Savings/Current Account(s).
• Average quarterly balance held in the HSBC Fixed Deposits.
• Investments market value/ net purchase value, whichever is higher on the last day of every calendar quarter.
• Life-to-date paid-up life insurance premium for active policies as on the last day of every calendar quarter.
• Market value of demat holdings in the depository account held with HSBC India as on the last day of every calendar quarter.

Mortgage eligibility for the Premier proposition is based on a home loan value of more than or equal to Rs. 1.15 Crores. The waiver on balance-based charges related to non-maintenance of TRB will be valid for the life of the mortgage relationship with HSBC India. On termination of the mortgage relationship, you will need to maintain the applicable Premier TRB eligibility.

If the TRB criteria are not met for a particular quarter, a quarterly service charge of 0.2% will be levied on the shortfall in the TRB, up to a maximum of Rs. 2,000 + applicable taxes.

If you don’t receive a salary credit/ receive a salary credit of an amount lower than Rs. 3 Lakhs, HSBC will reclassify your account to an alternate offering after providing due notice.

The following are the basic documents required to apply for an HSBC Premier Credit Card:

• KYC documents like Passport, PAN Card, Voter Identity Card, Driving Licence, etc.
• Income proof, such as the latest copy of salary slips along with 3 months’ bank statement, salary certificate for employees of MNC corporates, etc.
• Form 60 in case PAN card is not available.
